For Italians, olive oil is such an important part of our Mediterranean diet, our ancestors called it Liquid Gold. The Extra Virgin Olive Oil we produce at Villa Medicea di Lilliano Wine Estate is green rather than gold in colour, yet is highly valued for its unique flavour.

Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made with precise, loving care. We use frantoio, leccino, pendolino and moraiolo olives, cold-pressed within 24 hours of harvesting to secure their flavour and ensure the highest quality.

Taken from trees that thrive on our carefully tended organic estate, these olives combine to produce an olive oil with a distinctive green colour and a fresh, intense and fruity aroma, with hints of artichoke. The predominantly fruity and pleasantly spicy taste is a delicious accompaniment to many dishes, especially those that are celebrated and loved throughout Tuscany.

ORGANIC, HEALTHY AND GENUINE

Born from the blend of our typical Tuscan varieties of olive trees: frantoio, leccino, pendolino and moraiolo. The maximum time interval between harvesting and crushing is twelve hours. Extravrigin olive oil extraction take place in the absence of oxygen and in cold temperatures. It has a bright green color and an intense perfume, typical of all Tuscan oils.
